The Communications Help Desk is an online form available to all employees to request communications services. New and unplanned communications requests MUST flow through the help desk. Examples: PowerPoint presentation for an event or conference; content for The Weekly Wrap; a flyer that wasn’t in the original workplan.

Here’s how it works:

  • The first step for any communications need is to submit a help desk request form.
  • The form includes fields for project, audience, type of communications assistance requested, and deadline.
  • Requests are sent to the entire communications team and a planner task is created.
  • A member of the communications team will be in touch to respond to the request.

All requests for communications services completed by external contractors (ex: St. Paul Media, public relations firms, and video productions agencies) must also flow through the help desk.
